My nails currently! The black lines are a bit messy though. Should have used striping tape instead. #nails #nailart #nailpolish #frenchtip #modern #diagonal #rhinestones #bows #cute #notorious-nails #tumblr (Taken with instagram)

Haven’t done a French tip mani in a long time! Not quite finished with it though. Will be adding more to it tomorrow! #nails #mani #manicure #frenchtip (Taken with instagram)
My nails currently! I was in a hurry though because I had other things to do & places to be so I will be finishing up what I wanted to do with this tomorrow afternoon! I was so sad though because the nail on my index finger chipped a little bit.
Btw, sometimes I will post up my nail stuff on my instagram before I get the chance to upload my nail pics from my camera, so be sure to follow me! :) I wish I could publish my nail stuff on this blog but tumblr only gives you the option of publishing your instagram photos onto your primary blog. Hopefully they’ll change that soon!

Splatter Manicure
1. Begin by painting your nails with a light-colored polish. We used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.
2. Dip a slanted makeup brush or small paintbrush in a bright, saturated polish. Next, quickly dip the polish-covered brush in a bit of nail polish remover to thin it out.
3. Channel your inner preschooler and pull back on the brush to splatter polish across your nails. It’s a messy process, so make sure you’re working on a covered surface!
4. Continue splattering with as many polishes as you’d like (We used three bright colors).
5. Now comes clean-up. Begin by using a remover-soaked cotton ball to wipe away the splatters on your hands and fingers. After most of the splatters are cleaned up, switch to a small remover-dipped makeup brush to clean up the skin right around your nails.
6. Add a top coat and get ready to answer “How did you do that?” for the rest of the day. This is such a fun, unexpected look!

Aloha Summer!
So I’m FINALLY done with finals & I’m currently on summer vacation so now I have time to do my nails again! I’ve been so busy that I had bare nails for about 2 weeks! I felt so naked haha. I wanted to do a summery look so I picked these colors & I was going to do a gradient from green to blue but that didn’t work out so well. Too bad I didn’t see thenailsaurus’ gradient tutorial BEFORE I started painting my nails. So I decided to pull out a hibiscus design from my BundleMonster plates to hide my failed attempt & also since it makes me think of Hawaii :)
Polishes/tools used:
Forever 21 Love & Beauty Avocado
L.A. Colors Sea Siren
Konad Special Polish Blue
Cosmetic sponge
